Switching from the runway and onto the hardwood, Assembly New York and Raquel Allegra turned fashion into a sport. Their unique presentation showed their clothing in action during an intense basketball match. On the sidelines were cheerleaders chanting “Let’s go models! Let’s go!”, giving the players a boost and setting an atmosphere of healthy competition. The clothes themselves were loose-fitting with simple lines and cotton fabrics, keeping comfort at the heart of the design. Emerald greens, navy blues and light grays and whites created a calming effect. The interactive show proved that high end clothing can be both fun and functional. Definitely a slam dunk in our books.
