NYFW Day 7

Etherial was the word for Day 7 of the NYFW shows at Marchesa. Magic was occurring backstage where half a dozen seamstresses and assistants were fluttering around the most exquisite champagne hued, crystal encrusted ballgown perched on a dress form. NYFW Day 6

With the pouring rain, came the chic minimalist utilitarianism of Vera Wang's collection.  As Kendal Jenner graced the runway, a pink haired younger sister Kylie was in the front row to support. Shades of brown, olive and deep mustard and rust tones were preceded by stark black and white garments. Crisp suiting material with asymmetrical stitching and straps started off the collection, leading in to more feminine furs and sheer gowns in color blocked draped fabric.  Finishing off the collection…

With incredible attention to detail, the designer never disappoints, pulling out all the stops for these fringed, sequined and metallic works of art.  Red carpet ready and full of dazzle. Valentine's fever hit the runways today at Rachel Zoe. We had the chance to get upclose and personal with Rachel and watch the master at work. As she meticulously described the collection to an editor from Vogue, we saw how much love she put into each piece.
