On the final day of NYFW, Co-founder of Chic Sketch Emily Brickel Edelson hosted an Instagram Takeover for @Stylecaster! Stylecaster is a fashion, beauty, lifestyle and entertainment website that keeps viewers updated with the latest news within the fashion industry! During the takeover, Emily took viewers behind the scenes for a live experience of fashion week, from sketching models backstage to sitting front row at some of the most anticipated fashion shows. The first show of the day was Noon By Noor, backstage as the model’s lined up, Emily sketched a beautiful look that definitely showcased Noon By Noor’s chic casual aesthetic. The look was a flowing beige trouser pant with a matching beige jumper embellished with pearls, paired with a sand colored woven basket tote and white strappy sandals. Emily sat front row during the fashion show near celebrities such as Miss J Alexander and Camilla Belle. The next show was Sally LaPointe, and Emily headed backstage to show viewers a first glance of the looks presented at the show. The looks stayed true to Sally LaPointe’s monochromatic and comfortable aesthetic, with pieces making a bold and unapologetic statement. Emily sketched a bright orange monochromatic look that consisted of a long sleeved orange sweater that draped to the mid thigh, the sweater also had playful fluffy wrists. The sweater was matched with skin tight orange biker shorts and a bright orange heel to match. On the runway, Sally LaPointe covered the catwalk with a bright and modern take on an orange carpet. A visit from the past with Orange, Teal and Zebra done in the most updated way.
