Flash back to NYFW September 2014, Emily was sketching live on paper at the grand opening for Bene Rialto, a boutique off Fifth Avenue in New York City. Jordan, Emily’s fiancé at the time (now husband) would come to support and saw how excited people got, the hour-long line and how people were taking photos of their sketch to share on social media. This first event lead to a flood of offers and new clients, but Emily was only one person and needed to scale this business. They knew there had to be a better way.
With an overwhelming demand, Jordan and Emily joined forces to marry Fashion and Technology and create Chic Sketch, the live event and mobile fashion illustration application we know today. With a team of US based fashion illustrators to sketch at hundreds of live events each year and a mobile application where users can submit their photos, get their own customized sketch and share it directly to social media, Chic Sketch brings fashion illustration to the masses!

Chic Sketch is the brainchild of husband and wife entrepreneur co-founders Jordan Edelson, CEO and founder of Appetizer Mobile, a mobile digital agency, and Emily Brickel Edelson, published fashion illustrator, author, and fashion designer.

An entrepreneur, author and published Fashion Illustrator, named one of Who What Wear’s “Best Fashion Illustrators” and one of “New York’s 7 Most Influential Women” by Elite Daily. Emily has been commissioned to sketch at NY Fashion Week for top fashion editors, brands and celebrities. Her sketches have reached millions of viewers around the world appearing in Vogue, ELLE, Allure, InStyle, E! News, WWD, Refinery 29 and more. Emily’s first companies include a fashion line, Rock Hard Atelier and a custom fashion illustration business, Emily Brickel Illustration. Emily was trained in Trend Forecasting and Fashion Styling. Getting her start in the corporate world of luxury at Gucci Group (now Kering), Emily helped launch global e-commerce initiatives.

JORDAN EDELSON
Award winning “Forbes 30 Under 30” seasoned entrepreneur of 25 + years, he is the CEO and founder of the globally recognized Mobile Digital Agency, Appetizer Mobile, designing, developing and marketing hundreds of mobile applications. Jordan has been acknowledged by the Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, Time Magazine, Forbes Magazine, Huffington Post, The Doctors and more. Jordan makes appearances on ABC, CNBC, Bloomberg and Fox Business News as an expert in cutting edge technology. Jordan prides himself on his ability to innovate and create disruptive concepts and bring them into the marketplace.
